Peanut-Safe Baseball Games - St. Louis Cardinals and River City Rascals
St. Louis Cardinals Peanuts will not be allowed in section 328 at Busch Stadium during the following games:
- April 11 Houston Astros at 3:10 p.m.
- June 1 Cincinnati Reds at 7:15 p.m.
- July 29 Los Angeles Dodgers at 7:15 p.m.
Tickets for the section will be reduced from $27 to $14 and will go on sale March 13th. To purchase tickets, call the Busch Stadium Group Ticket Sales department at (314) 345-9500 and ask for the peanut-safe section. More information is also available at http://www.stlcardinals.com/peanutsafe.
River City Rascals Peanuts will not be allowed in section 109 at TR Hughes Ballpark in O'Fallon, Missouri during the following games:
- May 27 Florence Freedom
- June 10 Gateway Grizzlies
- July 22 Avon Professional Baseball
- August 5 Southern Illinois Miners
- August 19 Kalamazoo Kings
- September 2 Evansville Otters
All games will begin at 7:05 p.m. Tickets for the peanut-safe section games will be on sale March 28th. Tickets purchased in advance are $9. Game day tickets are available for $10. To purchase, call (636) 240-2287.
Food Allergy Week Awareness Event This event will feature a performance by anaphylactic Canadian musician, Kyle Dine. Kyle will perform upbeat songs that he has written for children about living with food allergies. Please join us on Thursday, May 14 at 4:30 p.m. at St. Luke's Hospital Emerson auditorium in their Institute for Health Education. Circus Flora's "Peanut-Free Preview" Night Circus Flora will host a peanut-free preview night for their 2009 show, Medrano, on Thursday, June 4th at 7:00 p.m. at the Big Top Tent next to Powell Symphony Hall. Food Allergy Fair 2009 The 2nd annual Food Allergy Fair will take place on September 12, 2009 at the Kirkwood Community Center from 9 a.m. to noon. The fair will focus on raising awareness and providing information and entertainment to families affected by food allergies. The fair is free and open to the public. Stay tuned for further details.
